Frederic Naud is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in drug development and manufacturing. Currently serving as the Head of Viatris Innovation Switzerland since March 2024, Frederic previously held the position of VP and Life Cycle Group Leader at Idorsia Pharmaceuticals Ltd from January 2017 to March 2024, leading cross-functional teams in the cardiovascular and autoimmune sectors. Prior to that, Frederic worked at Actelion Pharmaceuticals Ltd as CMC Leader and Associate Director, ensuring the continuous supply of drug substances for two blockbuster products. Earlier roles include laboratory Head at Novartis and Project Leader at Solvias AG, focusing on chemical manufacturing processes and new chemical entity development. Frederic holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Strasbourg, along with a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Technology from Trinity College Dublin.
