Russell Taws

Russell Taws is an experienced professional in product marketing, currently serving as the Product Marketing Director at VIAVI Solutions since December 2011, where responsibilities include managing marketing programs for Fiber Optics, Metro, and Transport product lines. Prior to this role, Russell held the position of Director of Marketing Management at JDSU from September 2009 to December 2010, overseeing a European team focused on communications test solutions. Additional experience includes serving as Business Development Manager at Acterna from 2005 to 2008 and as Product Marketing Manager at Schlumberger Technologies from 1990 to 1994. Russell holds a Diploma in Partnership, Business Administration and Management from 2011-2012 and a Bachelor’s Honors degree in Electronics from the University of Warwick, obtained from 1981 to 1984.
