Wally Wardak

Wally Wardak is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in hardware development and management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at VIAVI Solutions since March 2006, Wally oversees technical operations within a global organization generating $1.2 billion in revenue. Prior roles include Director of Hardware Development at Xtera Communications Inc., where Wally contributed to the development of a pioneering DWDM system, and Sr. Manager of Hardware Development at Fujitsu Network Communications Inc., managing a team of engineers for a major hardware project. Wally's career began as Sr. Hardware Engineer at Pulse Communications Inc. Wally holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Capitol Technology University.
