Jamil Madanat

Jamil Madanat has extensive work experience in the engineering and technology fields. Jamil began their career in 2013 as a Research Assistant in the Bio Engineering Lab at McGill University. In 2014, Jamil was a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Rolls-Royce and a Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Aero McGill Design Society. In 2015, they were a Technical Specialist Intern at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission. In 2016, they worked as a Sales Application Engineer at Camfil Power Systems. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Chief Product Officer at Lumbrick, where they designed and built a novel biochar machine. In 2019, Jamil was a Product Engineer at Canaropa, where they spearheaded the adoption of a new exit device series. In 2020, they were the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product at ViaVii, where they were responsible for digitally transforming people-to-people travel and managing product development. Jamil also worked as the Chief Technology Officer and Engineering Manager at Greenforges, where they designed underground farming technologies to boost local farmer's production. Additionally, they were an Operations at DoinGud.
