Balin Ozsoy

Balin Ozsoy, MD, is currently a researcher at VIB within the Laboratory of Angiogenesis and Vascular Metabolism since November 2022. Prior to this role, Balin served as a researcher at the University of Liège in the GIGA Research Institute’s Cancer Division, specifically the Laboratory of Developmental and Tumor Biology, from November 2021 to November 2022. Balin's medical internship was completed at Baskent University from July 2019 to July 2020, and experience as a research scholar was acquired at the University of Pécs Medical School during August 2015. Balin is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at KU Leuven, which began in November 2022, and holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Baskent University, earned in 2020. Educational background includes attendance at TED Ankara Koleji from 2010 to 2014.
