Jerome van Biervliet

Jerome Van Biervliet is the Managing Director at VIB and the Head of VIB Discovery Sciences. Jerome is also involved in various board memberships and leadership positions in companies such as MEDVIA, biotope by VIB, V-Bio Ventures, Augustine Therapeutics, ExeVir, flanders.bio, Confo Therapeutics, and Oncurious. Prior to their current roles, Jerome worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company. Jerome holds a PhD in Molecular Neuroscience from KU Leuven and has pursued further education in corporate finance and clinical pharmacology.
