Laurens Lambrechts

Laurens Lambrechts is currently a PhD candidate at Universiteit Gent and holds a PhD Fellowship in strategic basic research at Fonds Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek - Vlaanderen since November 2019. Previously, Laurens completed a research stay at The Westmead Institute for Medical Research under Professor Sarah Palmer from June to December 2019. Experience also includes a summer job and an internship at the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, where Laurens contributed to clinical biology research in July 2017 and a fever study in July-August 2016, respectively. Laurens earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Bio-engineering, specializing in Cell and Genetic Biotechnology from Ghent University between 2012 and 2018.
