Cheila Portela

Cheila Portela has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2010 as a Docente de Graduação e Pós-Graduação - Enfermagem at Universidade Estadual Vale do Acaraú - UVA. In 2011, they took on a Docente de Pós-Graduação - Atenção Primária role at Escola de Formação em Saúde da Família Visconde de Sabóia. In 2010, they were a Gestora Municipal da Atenção Primária à Saúde at Secretaria Municipal da Saúde de Ubajara. In 2012, they were a Revisora de Periódicos at Revista Investigación y Educación en Enfermería and an Especialista Indicadores e Sistemas de Informação at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein. In 2017, they were a Co-founder and consultant at Instat and a Head of Product & Technology at Gesto, where they led teams of data scientists, data engineers, BI and product analysts. Cheila also created a roadmap and managed people and agile development strategy, resulting in a churn reduction from 30% to -5%. In 2019, they were a Founder and Head of Product & Technology at Laceh. In 2020, they were a Head of Product and Product Manager at Amparo Saúde. Currently, they are a Head de Produto & Tecnologia and Head of Product at Vibe Saúde.

Cheila Portela has an extensive education history. Cheila obtained a Bacharelado em Enfermagem from Universidade Estadual do Vale do Acaraú in 2003-2007, followed by an Extensão em Obstetrícia e Neonatologia from the same institution in 2007. Cheila then completed a Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde da Família at Escola de Formação em Saúde da Família Visconde de Sabóia from 2008 to 2010, and a Mestrado em Saúde Pública from Federal University of Ceara from 2010 to 2012. Currently, they are pursuing a Doutorado em Epidemiologia from USP - Universidade de São Paulo. Additionally, they have obtained a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf in June 2020 and a Lean Six-Sigma - Belt from Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein.
