Keli Dailey has a diverse and extensive work experience in the media and journalism field. Keli began their career as a freelance features writer for various magazines and newspapers in 2005. In 2013, they were selected as a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University. From 2016-2019, they served as an adjunct professor at Saint Mary's College of California and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA). During this time, they also served as the Marketing & Branding Lead at SFMTA and the Executive Producer, Head Writer, and Performer at NEWS HANGOVER with Keli Dailey. In 2019, they began working as the Director of the Communication Program and Asst. Adjunct Professor at Mills College, the Editorial Manager at VibeMap, the Editor at Global Press Journal, and the Producer, Writer, and Performer at Surviving San Francisco. In 2021, they began working as an Adjunct Professor and Managing Editor of Globus Journal at the University of San Francisco.

Keli Dailey earned their High School Diploma from Eisenhower High School in 1992. Keli then attended The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1996 with a BA/BJ in English/Journalism. Keli continued their education at the University of California, Berkeley, earning their Master's Degree in Journalism in 2005. In 2013, they were a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University.
