Steve Owings

Steve Owings has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Steve is currently the VP of Software and Data Development at Vibrant Credit Union since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Nintex as an Engineering Manager from June 2021 to March 2022. During their time at Nintex, Steve led two cross-functional delivery teams and successfully doubled the engineering department headcount. Before Nintex, Steve worked at AssureSign as a Software Engineering Manager, where they transformed the organization and implemented processes to improve delivery efficiency and code quality. Steve also has experience as a Software Engineer at Cartegraph, where they collaborated in a team-centered environment and mentored other developers. Additionally, they worked as a Software Support Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville College of EMS, a Software Support Analyst Intern at Integrys Energy Group, and an Information Technology Intern at QCSA Direct. Steve has also held the role of Technical Director at Countryside Community Theatre and North Scott Community School District. Overall, Steve Owings has a strong background in software development and leadership roles, with experience working in both remote and distributed work environments.

Steve Owings attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering. The program was ABET accredited, focusing on the study of software engineering.
