Andrew Roberts

Andrew Roberts is a licensed surgical first assistant at Rush University, specializing in various surgical procedures since March 2023. In addition to this role, Andrew serves as a peer support specialist at Vibrant Emotional Health, offering emotional support to healthcare workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a lead research fellow at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Andrew trains and supervises other physician research fellows while executing research projects. Andrew also operates an independent business, The Print Surgeon, focused on rapid prototyping and design using CAD and 3D printing technology. Previously, Andrew held positions in clinical research coordination, clinical deployment training, and public health laboratory work, contributing to various healthcare and scientific initiatives since 2008. Andrew holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Midwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University, Monterey Bay.
