Ahmad Humayun

NN Vision at Vicarious

Ahmad received his PhD in computer vision at the School of Interactive Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology, and received his MS in Computer Graphics, Vision and Imaging from University College London. He is interested in recognition problems in videos where motion and sparse labeling can be used to build life-long object learning systems.

He has worked on a diverse set of problems including object detection, discrete optimization techniques for video segmentation and object proposals, optical flow, tracking in bio-imaging, and incremental machine learning.

Outside of work he tries to rock climb many pitches, push a lot of watts on a bicycle, and eat dozens of donuts.
