Bhaskara Marthi

Bhaskara Marthi was previously a Research Scientist at Willow Garage, where he devised algorithms for robots to build 3D maps of their surroundings, assemble Ikea furniture, and tidy rooms in an optimal way.

Before that, Bhaskara completed his post-doc in artificial intelligence at MIT and earned his PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley.

His favorite learning agent is two years old and has already achieved state of the art results on the task of detecting candy in cluttered images.
