Andrew Livingston has a diverse background in policy analysis and research, particularly focused on cannabis regulation and advocacy. Andrew started their career in 2012, taking on various roles in different organizations. At Vicente LLP, they served as the Director of Economics and Research, responsible for national economic analysis, data collection, and statistical modeling. Andrew also worked as a Policy Analyst, overseeing policy briefs, state regulatory updates, and marijuana regulatory implementation strategy. Additionally, they assisted in training inspectors, educating clients, and incorporating national policy changes into compliance materials.

In 2014, Livingston joined VS Strategies as a Policy Analyst, where they managed policy and research services for clients worldwide and developed innovative policy solutions related to cannabis implementation. Andrew also ran the economic and tax analysis department. Before that, they were involved in the Campaign to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol as campaign staff, worked as the New Voters Project Coordinator at the Colorado Public Interest Research Group, and served as a research intern at the Criminal Justice Policy Foundation.
