Vikas Maan

Vikas Maan has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering. Vikas started their career in 2009 as a Network Administrator at Universal Institute of Technology. Later, from 2012 to 2017, they worked as a Network Convergence SR Analyst at Dell International Services, where they gained extensive experience in network routing, troubleshooting, and configuring Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.

In 2017, Vikas joined Ericsson India as a Senior Network Engineer, where they worked with MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, and other routing and switching technologies. Vikas also had hands-on experience in troubleshooting IP-related network issues.

After that, Vikas worked as a Senior Network Engineer at TEKsystems, where they focused on LAN, WAN, and WLAN installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Vikas also had expertise in network protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP.

Currently, they are working at Vichara Technologies as a Senior Network Security Engineer. Vikas'sresponsibilities include managing network connectivity of Cisco and Arista devices in a data center environment, working on routing protocols, and configuring Cisco IOS series routers and switches.

Throughout their career, Vikas has demonstrated their ability to effectively manage network services, troubleshoot network issues, and provide end-to-end network support.

Vikas Maan completed their 12th grade at Indira Gandhi Public School in 2005. Vikas then attended Kurukshetra University from 2005 to 2009, where they received a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the following: Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1: Certified Associate and Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 2: Certified Associate from Fortinet in January 2022, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation from Cisco in April 2017, and Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Engineer from Palo Alto Networks in January 2021. Vikas also holds certifications from Cisco, including Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing and Switching (CCIE-RS) Written, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA), and Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS), although the obtained month and year for these certifications are not provided.
