Liz Murphy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in gender equality and women's health promotion. Currently, as a Senior Project Officer at the Victorian Health Promotion Foundation (VicHealth), Liz has been instrumental in supporting local governments and community settings to promote gender equality. Liz has also managed critical projects such as the prevention of violence against women, contributing to the development of Australia's first National Framework for the Prevention of Violence against Women and Children, "Change the Story." Previous roles include Project Manager for a Local Government Networking Project at VicHealth and Regional Women's Health Coordinator at Barwon Health. Liz holds a Bachelor of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and English Literature from Deakin University.
