Alyssa L.

Alyssa L. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of biology and pharmacology. Alyssa began their career at CSBio Co. as a Quality Control Intern in 2015. In 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant in Tumor Immunology at UC San Diego Health. Alyssa then joined Cytokinetics as a Sample Management Intern in 2019. That same year, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California San Diego.

In 2020, Alyssa joined Theravance Biopharma US, Inc. as a Research Assistant in Biology & Pharmacology, and later transitioned to the role of Research Associate I until December 2021. Starting in January 2022, they became a Research Associate II in Discovery Biology at Surrozen. In this role, Alyssa conducted various assays and imaging techniques to evaluate the effect of JNK on the non-canonical Wnt pathway and investigated the relationship between senescence and Axin2 on lung tissue.

Currently, Alyssa is working as a Research Associate II in Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology at Vicinitas Therapeutics, starting in March 2023.

Alyssa L. attended UC San Diego from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology with a Minor in Global Health.
