Kenneth Chew

Associate Director at Vickers Venture Partners

Mr. Kenneth Chew joined Vickers in 2018 as a Venture Principal and became an Associate Director in 2019. Kenneth is involved in deal-sourcing and investment evaluation, and enjoys working with entrepreneurs on their business strategy and growth plans.

Prior to joining Vickers, Kenneth led the Singapore outfit for Noroo Holdings, the investment holding arm of a listed Korean chemicals company, where he sourced deals and worked on projects in the food and agri-tech spaces in China and Singapore, and also led the company’s investment into 500 Startups’ Durians Fund II.

Kenneth also spent a year in Silicon Valley, where he co-founded PIF and Qanopy – consumer tech platforms for networking and helping people share their unique stories – raising $500,000 from angels and early stage institutional investors.

Kenneth received his BSc in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering (Summa) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, while on the Glaxo-SmithKline EDB scholarship awarded by the Singapore Government. Upon returning to Singapore, Kenneth was involved in strategic industry development and investment facilitation at the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) for 7 years, during which he spent 3 years spearheading and leading the EDB’s efforts in Seoul as Area Director, South Korea, covering a variety of industries including Electronics, Infocomm & Media, Consumer Businesses and Energy & Chemicals. Kenneth is fluent in English, Mandarin, and colloquial Korean.
