James Carter is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting, internal controls, and compliance. Currently serving as the Controller at Vicon Machinery since January 2024, James has a rich history as a Financial Accounting and Internal Controls Consultant since January 2003. Significant projects include a sixteen-month engagement with Arconic, Inc. to enhance SAP processes and a series of reviews and upgrades for RGA Reinsurance Co. Previous roles as Plant Controller for Piston Automotive and Regional Plant Controller for Canam Steel Corporation showcase expertise in manufacturing finance. Additionally, James has contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Missouri Baptist University and East Central College.
