Andrea Rivera Aslan

Andrea Rivera Aslan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andrea joined Vicon in 2021 and worked as an Application Test Engineer until December 2022. Additionally, they held the role of Customer Success Manager at Vicon from December 2022 onwards.

In 2015, Andrea worked as a Consultant for Instituto Salvadoreño de el Corazón. In this role, they helped with marketing strategies and promoted and improved the company's social media presence.

From 2019 to 2021, Andrea gained experience as a Research and Teacher Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Simultaneously, they worked as a Yoga Instructor at Anytime Fitness, Living Yoga Center, and Lincoln Park Fitness Center.

In 2020, Andrea took on the role of Dance Teacher at Chicago Loves Dance, and from 2018 to 2019, they were a Dance Company Member at Ground Rhythm Dance Project.

Andrea kicked off their career at Oxford Tax Partners, LLC in 2017 as an Operations Manager and stayed until 2019.

Lastly, starting in April 2022, Andrea began working as a Dance Instructor at Kick Start Dance.

Through their diverse work experience, Andrea has developed a strong skill set in customer success, application testing, marketing, research, teaching, and yoga instruction.

Andrea Rivera Aslan's education history begins in 2011 when they attended Columbia College Chicago. Andrea pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree, completing a double major in Business Entrepreneurship and Dance. Andrea studied at Columbia until 2015.

In 2017, Andrea enrolled in a Yoga Center and obtained certification as a Yoga Teacher. Andrea furthered their knowledge in yoga biomechanics and the science of stretching by completing a certification course offered by Jules Mitchell in October 2017.

Andrea's academic journey continued in 2018 when they attended the IUGTE, where they participated in a program focused on movement, specifically directing and teaching lab techniques. This program lasted for the duration of that year.

Most recently, Andrea joined the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2019 to pursue a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Andrea completed their studies at the university in 2021, earning their MS degree.

Additionally, Andrea obtained a certification in Customer Success Management Fundamentals from LinkedIn in December 2022.
