Claire Fitzgerald

Claire Fitzgerald currently serves as the Head of Corporate Affairs at VicRoads since January 2025, leading a team focused on corporate communication, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management amidst a strategic transformation initiated by a joint-venture partnership. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Tourism and Hospitality at the Department of State Growth (Tas), where leadership was provided on economic development initiatives for Tasmania's tourism sector, and as Director of Corporate Affairs and Public Relations at the Museum of Old and New Art, advising co-CEOs and managing media engagement. Claire has held various roles across corporate communications and public relations in organizations such as NAB, Museums Victoria, and Melbourne Airport, demonstrating a robust track record in stakeholder engagement and strategic communication. Claire holds an MBA Essentials certification from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Communications from RMIT University.
