Stephanie Kong

Stephanie Kong is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in vascular biology and cellular metabolism. Currently serving as a Senior Research Officer at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute since August 2022, Stephanie also holds a position as a Conjoint Lecturer at UNSW. Previous roles include Senior Research Assistant at The Heart Research Institute, Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Sydney, and PC2 Virus Facility Manager at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute. Key skills include advanced mouse surgical techniques, protein purification, histology, and molecular biology methodologies. Stephanie earned a PhD in Cell Metabolism and Neuroscience from the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and has contributed to various scientific events as a member of executive committees. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and a Diploma in Innovation Management from UNSW.
