Annette Angell

Annette Angell is a seasoned professional in the fields of supportive housing, shelter management, and advocacy, currently serving as the Manager of Supportive Housing & Shelters at Victoria Cool Aid Society since March 2023. Prior roles include Shelter Programs Manager at Victoria Women's Transition House and Community Advocate at Disability Alliance BC. Annette's extensive experience in supporting vulnerable populations also includes managerial and support roles at the Sexual Assault Support Centre at AMS of UBC Vancouver, as well as various positions in legal and research capacities with organizations such as West Coast LEAF, Inter Gentes, and the Consortium on Gender, Security, and Human Rights. Annette holds a B.C.L./LL.B. from McGill University and a Bachelor of Environmental Studies with a minor in International Development Studies from York University.
