Nicolas Morel (MIEAust, MAICD) currently serves as Chair of the Victorian Bioenergy Network, leading strategic initiatives to advance the bioenergy sector and regional development across Victoria and Australia. Previously, Nicolas held the position of Director at the same organization, overseeing financial aspects and promoting a low-carbon circular economy. Currently, Nicolas is involved in business development for APAC energy transition markets at InEight, focusing on opportunities in renewable energy. Nicolas's past roles include Regional Manager at Allegion, where strategic contributions enhanced commercial success in QLD and NSW, and State Manager at Hilti Australia, driving revenue and leading high-performing sales teams. Nicolas’s career began with experience as Sustainability Lead at Nubian Water Systems, emphasizing sustainability assessments and project delivery. Educational qualifications include a Master in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UNSW and a Master in Physics and Materials Engineering from the University of Montpellier.
