Colleen Fitzpatrick is an accomplished forensic genealogist and educator with extensive experience in the field. Currently a member of the Australia New Zealand Forensic Science Society (ANZFSS) and the American Academy of Forensic Science, Colleen has made significant contributions, including serving as session chair at the AAFS conference. As the founder of Identifinders International LLC, Colleen has gained recognition for award-winning genealogical research that supports military and law enforcement efforts, notably placing 5th in the 2020 Gordon Thomas Honeywell DNA Hit of the Year competition. Colleen co-founded the DNA Doe Project to solve cold cases involving unidentified individuals. An experienced author and speaker, Colleen has published best-selling books and delivered numerous lectures internationally. Additionally, Colleen served as an adjunct professor at Boston University, where the focus was on innovative approaches to forensic genealogy. With a strong educational background in nuclear physics from Duke University and Rice University, Colleen's expertise spans forensic research globally.
