Olaf Drummer Ao

Olaf Drummer AO is a prominent forensic toxicology consultant specialist at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine since July 2019. With an extensive academic background, Olaf serves as a professor of Forensic Medical Science at Monash University since January 2001 and previously held the position of Deputy Director (Academic Programs) at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine from 1989 until retirement in February 2017. Olaf also led the Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics Unit at the University of Melbourne from 1975 to 1989. Educational qualifications include a Doctor Honoris Causa in Forensic Pharmacology and Toxicology from the University of Antwerp (2016), a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmacology from the University of Melbourne (1980), and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from RMIT University (1973).
