Ravi Balasubramanian

Ravi Balasubramanian has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of Data Science & Analytics at Victoria's Secret & Co. In this role, they were responsible for data analysis and analytics. Prior to that, Ravi worked at Walmart Global Tech India as the Director of Data Science, MLOps & Analytics. At GE, they led a team of scientists and supported key customer engagements and new product development activities. At FMC Technologies, Ravi was a Technical Lead and Senior Research Engineer involved in the evaluation and qualification of new subsea technologies.

Prior to their industry roles, Ravi worked as a Hydraulics Engineer at ITT Goulds Pumps, where they were involved in the hydraulic design of API process pumps. Ravi also worked as a Research Scientist at The Ohio State University and as a Graduate Research Assistant at NSF Engineering Research Center, Mississippi State University.

Throughout their career, Ravi has developed expertise in data science, analytics, artificial intelligence, and the oil and gas industry.

Ravi Balasubramanian completed their education in a chronological order. Ravi earned a Ph.D. in Computational Engineering from Mississippi State University from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computational Engineering from the same institution, studying from 2000 to 2002. Ravi commenced their education at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
