Joseph Young

Joseph Young is currently a Candidate for Hartford City Council and a Warehouse Associate at Amazon, with experience in sorting and mailing packages. Prior to these roles, Joseph served as a Paralegal Assistant at the Judicial Branch of the State of Connecticut, where responsibilities included handling court documents and swearing in witnesses. Previous positions include being a Field Representative for Ned Lamont's re-election campaign, a Package Handler at FedEx Ground, and a Food Server at Sodexo. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Central Connecticut State University and an Associate's Degree in General Studies/Political Science from Capital Community College. Additionally, Joseph served as Vice Chairman for the Commission for Elderly Services and People with Disabilities from 2016 to 2021.
