Sophie Versavaud began their work experience in 2005 as an Assistant Engineer at Arkema. Sophie then worked as a Research Engineer at Rohm and Haas from 2006 to 2007. Sophie continued their research work at Arkema as a Research Engineer from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they joined Arts et Métiers ParisTech to pursue a PhD in Material Engineering, which they completed in 2012. During their time at Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Sophie also worked as an Assistant Lecturer from 2011 to 2012. Since 2014, Sophie has been employed by Victrex as a Technical Support Engineer, specifically for the EMEA region.
Sophie Versavaud has a strong educational background in the field of material science. Sophie obtained their PhD in Material Science from Arts et Métiers ParisTech, studying from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Material Science and Project Management from Université Côte d'Azur, completing their studies from 2006 to 2007. Sophie also holds a degree in Génie des Matériaux, specifically Ingénieur Maitre - IUP Génie des Matériaux, from Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour, which they attained between 2003 and 2006. Sophie began their higher education studies by completing a DUT Mesures Physiques, specializing in Matériaux et Controles Physico-Chimiques, at Université de Bordeaux, spanning from 2001 to 2003.
