Shreyas Aditya

Shreyas Aditya has extensive work experience in the field of machine learning engineering. Shreyas is currently working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at VideaHealth since June 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at AppHarvest from September 2021 to June 2022. Shreyas also worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at AppHarvest from April 2021 to September 2021 and at Root AI (Acquired by AppHarvest) from July 2018 to April 2021.

Before venturing into machine learning engineering, Shreyas worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from January 2018 to May 2018. Shreyas'sresponsibilities included implementing semantic segmentation of fruits in images using Deep Learning and developing a smartphone app for data acquisition and inference presentation.

Shreyas gained industry experience as an Applied Research Intern at The Hershey Company from July 2017 to August 2017. During this time, they prototyped a chatbot and explored technologies like AR, VR, and humanoid robots to enhance shopping experiences.

Shreyas initially started their career as an Associate Software Developer at SAP Labs India from July 2014 to July 2016. Here, they developed new features, fixed bugs, and resolved customer issues for SAP Sourcing and Contract Lifecycle Management. Shreyas was recognized with an award for improving customer satisfaction and adding value to the software through rapid prototyping and feature implementation.

In addition to their professional experiences, Shreyas had various internships at Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions in 2014 and SAP Labs India in 2013. During these internships, they gained valuable industry exposure and technical skills.

Furthermore, Shreyas worked as a self-employed Android Developer in 2014. Shreyas developed a full-stack Android application for a luxury and lifestyle membership program, which was deployed on the Google Play Store.

Shreyas Aditya completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from B. M. S. College of Engineering from the years 2010 to 2014. Shreyas further pursued their studies and obtained a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania during the years 2016 to 2018. Additionally, Shreyas obtained a certification in "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" from Coursera Verified Certificates in June 2013.
