Rachel George

Community Organizer at Video Consortium

Rachel George is a video producer and visual storyteller. After freelancing in Ecuador and Peru as a one-woman videographer, she moved to Washington, D.C., where she currently works as a video producer in the branded documentary, striving to empower brands and people to tell their stories from the heart. She has produced and directed award-winning projects for clients such as New York Life, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, AARP, The Aspen Institute, Upworthy, Blackboard, and more. Outside of work, from 2016 to 2019, she served as the Communications Director of Rising Organizers, a completely volunteer-run nonprofit that offers free training in community organizing. Rachel is drawn to stories for justice, equity, and love of the natural world. (And rock climbing. Anything rock climbing.)
