Steven Schowalter

Steven Schowalter has a strong background in data science and research. Steven most recently worked at VideoAmp, starting in 2019. Steven progressed through various roles, starting as a Senior Data Scientist, then becoming a Data Science Manager, and finally taking on the position of Director of Data Science. Prior to VideoAmp, Steven worked as a Technologist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 2016 to 2019. Steven also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Caltech in 2016. Earlier in their career, Steven was a Graduate Student Researcher at UCLA from 2009 to 2016. Before that, they worked briefly as a Teacher at Phillips Academy in 2009 and as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Harvard University from 2007 to 2009. Steven's career began in the US Army as a Cadet from 2005 to 2007.

Steven Schowalter earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Physics from Harvard University in 2009. Prior to that, they attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 2005 to 2007, studying Mathematics and Physics. Steven completed their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics from UCLA in 2016.
