Mike Wilhelm

Mike Wilhelm began their work experience in 2003 as a Senior Technology Specialist at FedEx Kinko's, where they were responsible for maintaining printers, computers, LAN, and performing light graphic design work. In 2006, they joined Charter Media as a Director/Producer, overseeing the production of over 700 television commercials. In 2009, they briefly worked as a Colorist at Arcadian Entertainment and then as a Director of Photography at Room 237 Productions. In 2011, they served as an Editor at Arcadian Entertainment. In 2012, they joined Videomaker, initially as an Associate Multimedia Editor, then promoted to Content Director/Editor-in-chief, where they led a team of over 150 staff and freelance authors and increased editorial and production efficiency by 33%. In 2014, they became an Advisory Board Member and Workshop Leader at illuminAid, working with global NGOs to improve lives through video. Since 2016, they have been the Chief Operating Officer at Creator Handbook.

Mike Wilhelm earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Design: Media Arts from California State University, Chico. Mike attended the university from 2003 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including Email Marketing and Inbound from HubSpot, which were obtained in February and March 2021 respectively. Mike also holds a Google Analytics Individual Qualification, which they obtained in March 2021.
