John Wynen

John Wynen has over 30 years of work experience in the engineering field. John began their career in 1991 as an Analog Design Engineer at Unitron Global. John then moved to BlackBerry in 1996, where they held the role of Analog Design Engineer. In 2008, they joined Research In Motion as a Platform System Architect. In 2014, they returned to BlackBerry, this time in the role of Principal Hardware Engineer and Senior Hardware Engineer. In 2016, they became Lead System Design Engineer at Thalmic Labs. In 2017, they took a sabbatical, during which they held the role of Senior Hardware Engineer. John is currently employed at VIDERI Inc. as an Electrical Engineer.

John Wynen attended the University of Waterloo but did not pursue a degree or field of study.
