Pinto Karsanda

Pinto Karsanda began their work experience in 2014 as a UI/UX Designer Intern at Samsung R&D Institute Indonesia, where they focused on designing user interfaces for mobile applications and websites. Pinto also gained experience in creating wireframes, mock-ups, landing pages, and mobile app prototypes. Pinto then transitioned to a Web Developer Intern role at the same company, where they gained hands-on experience in web development.

In 2015, Pinto joined Ralali.com as a Front End Developer, responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into code to create visual elements for applications. Pinto collaborated with backend developers to integrate server-side application logic.

Later that year, Pinto joined PT. Kreatif Media Karya as a Front End Engineer, where they played a pivotal role in translating UI/UX design wireframes into code for KMK's publishing sites.

In 2017, they joined BBM as a Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of various software projects until 2019.

Recently, in 2019, Pinto joined Vidio as a Senior Software Engineer. Pinto later took on the role of Associate Team Lead and is currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer. At Vidio, they have been involved in improving user engagement features on the platform using technologies such as Ruby on Rails, WebSocket, Kotlin, and React. Pinto has also worked on refactoring the platform's frontend to enhance the developer's experience, ensuring UI/UX consistency with the help of product designers.

Pinto Karsanda began their education in 2008 at SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Natural Sciences in 2011. Pinto then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at BINUS University from 2011 to 2015. Following this, Pinto attended the University of Indonesia from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained their Master's degree in Information Technology.
