Joshua Howard

Joshua Howard has been working in the motion graphics field since 2014. Joshua's career began at TheStreet.com, where they served as a Production Artist in the Video Editorial department from 2014-2015. In this role, they were responsible for conceptualizing and storyboarding animation concepts for video assets. From 2015-2016, they worked as a Freelance Motion Designer for Viacom. Joshua then moved to A&E Television, where they worked as a Freelance Motion Designer from 2016-2018. In 2018, they joined Big Sky Editorial as a Motion Designer, where they collaborated on national and international media spots for large campaigns and designed and implemented opening title treatments and special effects for noted documentaries. In 2020, they began working as a Motion Graphic Designer for A+E Networks. Currently, they are a Motion Graphics Designer for Vidsy and a 3D Motion Graphics Specialist for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

Joshua Howard received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Pratt Institute in 2003, majoring in Drawing. Joshua returned to Pratt Institute in 2012 to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Communication Design with a digital emphasis, which they completed in 2014.
