Laurence Guillermo has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Laurence started their career at Stirling Energy Systems, Inc. in 1998 as an Electronics Technician, where they operated and maintained electrical and sensor subsystems. Laurence then transitioned to the role of Electrical Engineer from 2001 to 2003, troubleshooting and repairing electronics and cables of the electrical and mechanical subsystems.

In 2003, Laurence joined Northrop Grumman Corporation as an Electrical Engineer. Laurence led new engineering designs of perimeter security and communication systems, contributing to all program phases, including site surveys, proposals, system designs, site installations, and testing. Laurence served as the Engineering Lead for 18 site surveys across various customer sites in multiple states and countries.

From 2014 to 2017, Laurence worked at Leidos as a Physical Security Systems Engineer. In this role, they were a Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for leading new engineering designs of physical security solutions and communication systems. Laurence contributed in all program phases and was an active member of the Solutions Architect Group.

In 2017, Laurence joined Vidsys, Inc. as a Systems & Solutions Engineer. Laurence was responsible for architectural and system designs for Converged Security & Information Management (CSIM) installations. Laurence worked on a transformational software platform used for operations centers in public sector agencies and leading enterprise organizations globally.

Most recently, Laurence joined M.C. Dean, Inc. in 2019 as a Physical Security Project Manager. Laurence assumed the role of Project Leader in May 2022, responsible for leading projects within the company.

Throughout their career, Laurence has demonstrated expertise in engineering designs, system installations, site surveys, and testing, specifically in the field of security systems and physical security solutions.

Laurence Guillermo obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology from California State University, Long Beach. Laurence completed their education at the university from 1998 to 2001.
