Jeff Stautz

Jeff Stautz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Jeff is currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Vidyard, where they lead software development teams focused on inbound funnel, customer onboarding, activation/engagement, and billing systems. Additionally, Jeff owns their coaching and consulting business. Prior to their current roles, Jeff worked at Hootsuite in various management positions, including Senior Manager of Software Development, Platform and Senior Manager of Software Development, Product Infrastructure. Jeff also served as a Senior Technical Program Manager / Agile Coach and Director of Software Engineering during their tenure at Hootsuite. Before joining Hootsuite, Jeff gained experience as a Fiction Editor at PRISM international magazine and as a Technical Project Manager at Invoke Media. Jeff also worked as a Freelance Web Developer, managing web development projects for clients, and as a Software Project Manager at Dimentians, overseeing the creation of websites for various companies. Earlier in their career, Jeff held the position of Manager of Technology at AnswerConnect, where they managed a team of developers and designed web applications.

Jeff Stautz is currently pursuing a CPCC (Certified Professional Co-Active Coach) from the Co-Active Training Institute, with an expected completion in 2023. Jeff previously obtained an MFA in Creative Writing from The University of British Columbia in 2011. In 2003, Jeff earned a certificate in Publishing + Editing from the University of Denver - Publishing Institute. Jeff completed their undergraduate studies at Pomona College, where they obtained a BA in English and Creative Writing in 2003. Jeff has also obtained additional certifications, including Co-Active Coach (in progress) from the Co-Active Training Institute in 2022, OKR Certified Coach from Expert in the Outcome Mindset Method in 2021, Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from ICAgile in 2018, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in 2017, and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in 2017.
