Emma Pumarola

Emma Pumarola is a seasoned illustrator and educator with extensive experience in the fields of children's illustration, comic art, and graphic design. Since October 2016, Emma has been the illustrator for "Globus," a children's magazine for Establiments Viena in Catalonia, and has served as the director and professor at El Taller Del Barri - Acadèmia de Còmic since September 2017, fostering comic and illustration skills in Girona. Emma's freelance work spans a variety of projects, including adult publications, graphic design, music composition for multimedia, and animation. Emma also engages with the community through workshops at various civic centers and libraries, enabling knowledge sharing in drawing and animation techniques. Emma holds a degree in Fine Arts from Universitat de Barcelona, complemented by specialized training in illustration and comic arts from Escola Joso and Escola d'Art d'Olot.
