Andre Alcantara, PhD, is a Core Scientist at Vienna BioCenter Core Facilities (VBCF) GmbH since October 2021, focusing on the development of innovative research tools to enhance local research capabilities. Prior to this role, Andre served as a Postdoc Scientist at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH, investigating posttranscriptional regulation and enzyme production in filamentous fungi, and as a Molecular Biologist at Neoplants, where Andre optimized research strategies.
