Hannes Gruber

Hannes Gruber has over 30 years of experience in the financial industry. Hannes worked as the Head of Treasury / Capital Markets at Vienna Insurance Group from 2011. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of Hypo Tirol Bank AG from 2003 to 2009. Hannes also held the position of Managing Director Corporate & Investment Banking at ING from 1990 to 2003. Hannes Gruber started their career at Raiffeisen Bank International AG as a Referent Internationale Finanzierung from 1987 to 1990.

Hannes Gruber received their education from various institutions. From 1979 to 1983, they attended Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck where they earned a Doktor der Rechte degree in Rechtswissenschaften. Following that, from 1984 to 1986, they enrolled in Diplomatische Akademie Wien and obtained a Diplom der Diplomatischen Akademie in Internationale Wirtschaft und Finanzwesen. Lastly, in the years 2000 to 2002, Hannes Gruber attended CEDEP - Executive Development in Fontainebleau, where they completed the General Management Programme and earned a Diploma.
