Nguyen Duc Truong Son has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Senior Officer at the Union of Survey Companies. In 2004, they joined ICON4 as a Project Manager and Deputy General Manager, where they worked until 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they served as the Deputy General Manager at Quangminh Group. Nguyen returned to Quangminh Group in 2011 as the Deputy General Manager until 2012. In 2012, they joined Vietnam International Bank (VIB) as a Project Manager in the Project Management Office. Nguyen later took on the role of Head of Construction & Maintenance Department at VIB in 2013 and currently holds the position of Head of Network Development Block.

Nguyen Duc Truong Son began their education at Hanoi National Economics University in 1996 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Construction & Industry of Business Administration in 2000. During this time, they also attended Hanoi National University/Foreign Language University from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained another Bachelor's degree.

In 2006, Nguyen Duc Truong Son enrolled at Hanoi Civil Engineer University, pursuing an Engineer's degree in Civil Engineering. The end year for this program is not specified.

Following this, they attended EM Strasbourg Business School in France, as well as CFVG in Vietnam, from 2009 to 2011. Nguyen earned a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) during this period.
