Thai Hung Vu

Thai Hung Vu, PhD, is a seasoned technology strategist currently with Viettel High Technology Industries Corporation since March 2019, contributing to its establishment as a high technology-focused entity within Viettel Group. Previously, Thai served as the Chief Representative for Viettel Network Technologies Center in Ho Chi Minh City and held roles in strategy and international affairs at the same center. Prior to that, Thai gained valuable experience at Ooredoo Myanmar as an SLA Management Engineer and at Huawei as the Radio Network Optimization Team Leader. Academic credentials include a PhD in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Rennes, focusing on antenna research, complemented by a Bachelor of Engineering in Information and Telecommunication Systems from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Thai’s PhD work resulted in prestigious publications and an excellent thesis defense.
