Fasil Mulatu Kero

Fasil Mulatu Kero has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2003, they started their career at Best Buy as a Computer Sales Unit Supervisor, where they worked until 2009. Fasil Mulatu then moved on to Toyota Motor Corporation, where they served as a New Model Engineer Co-op from 2009 to 2010. From 2011 to 2015, Fasil worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC.

In 2016, they joined Tesla as a Staff Manufacturing Engineer and worked there until 2018. Fasil Mulatu then joined Apple as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer for the iPhone, where they stayed until 2019. Fasil then worked at a Stealth Startup as the Engineering Department Manager, focusing on Material Flow & Packaging.

Fasil Mulatu'scareer took him to Rivian in 2020, where they held the position of Director - Manufacturing Engineering. During their time at Rivian, Fasil played a key role in designing and managing the production lines for their groundbreaking EV products. Fasil Mulatu successfully landed the first two production lines within 11 months and contributed to the efficient manufacturing processes.

Currently, Fasil holds the position of Executive Vice President at Mach Industries, a company they joined in 2024. Prior to that, they were a Co-Founder and Board Member at SBG Industry PLC starting from 2015.

Fasil Mulatu Kero obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011. Fasil Mulatu also earned a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from BMW Group, although the specific dates are not provided. In addition, they have obtained certifications in kaizen/Continuous Improvement from BMW Group in 2014.
