Drew Gray

Drew Gray comes to the world of ocean sensing with an extensive background in computer vision and AI. He was the founding engineer of Tesla’s Autopilot and has led state-of-the-art deep learning and engineering teams in autonomous driving for over 10 years. He has served as an executive at world-class technology companies such as Cruise and Uber, and has been instrumental in leading several start-up companies. Drew received his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in building intelligent systems and has had a life-long passion in using technology to explore the ocean.
