Your Role and Impact
The Education Sales Development Representative team conducts sales calls and creates opportunities with ViewSonic secondary education accounts. In addition, the team follows up on all lead generation and participates in outbound lead generation programs to develop channel demand. The team is also responsible for account management activities directed to their assigned accounts and to provide supporting sales activities to their assigned sales territories with an emphasis on building relationships and rapport within their assigned accounts.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Your Profile
High school diploma or equivalent, 4-year college degree preferred.
2 - 3 years of experience with inside sales and preferably with technology and electronics industry.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) and conducting professional online meeting/webinars.
The ability to understand and comprehend new technology innovations and market them to new and existing customers.
Must be able to work independently and prioritize both revenue generating and non-revenue generating activities.
Strong ability to actively listen and determine customer needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills, discipline, attention to detail and ability to balance multiple tasks.
Highly motivated, high energy, “can do" attitude, competitive self-starter with keen sense of urgency.
Experience with SalesForce.com highly desirable.
