Milos Maryska

Milos Maryska has extensive work experience in various positions related to Information Technology and Business Intelligence. Milos is currently the Head of Information Technology Services Department at VIG RE zajišt'ovna, a.s since September 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Professor and Researcher at the University of Economics, Prague from September 2006. Milos has also held managerial positions such as Manager at Deloitte Deutschland from September 2016 to September 2017, and Senior Consultant and team leader at AM-line GmbH from April 2014 to August 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Business Consultant at Profinit from November 2011 to March 2014, and as a Senior Consultant at Infosys Lodestone for a project based on Apriso Flexnet implementation. Milos began their career as an Analyst/Product Testing Specialist at Accenture in February 2005. Milos Maryska has experience in lecturing, tutoring Ph.D. students, and various aspects of IT and management.

Milos Maryska started their education in 2002 at Prague University of Economics and Business, where they obtained a degree in Information Technology (Ing.) in 2006. Milos continued their studies at the same university and earned a Ph.D. in Information Technology in 2010. During their time at Prague University of Economics and Business, from 2006 to 2007, Milos also studied the teaching of economic subjects for high school.

In 2009, Milos attended Dublin City University to further their knowledge in Information Technology. However, it is not specified if they obtained a degree from this institution.

Additionally, Milos has obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2013, they became a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance. Milos also acquired certifications in IBM technologies, such as IBM Certified Solution Expert - Cognos BI (COG-180) and IBM Certified Advanced Solution Expert - Cognos TM1 (COG-385). Milos gained project management certifications as well, including ISO 10006 Project Manager and Prince 2 Registered Practitioner. Milos also obtained a Prince 2 Foundation certification in 2012 and an ITIL v3 Foundation certification in 2010.
