Melanie Vincent

Melanie Vincent is Principal Scientist at Vigeo Therapeutics. Melanie has a background in research and academia, having worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and as a graduate student at Albany Medical College. Melanie has also worked as a research technician at Tufts University and as a teacher assistant at the University of Otago. Melanie's research has focused on the role of stress hormones in depression and anxiety, and they have provided genetic proof of principle experiments that support the use of Vigeo's novel anti-cancer compounds in rare pediatric cancers.

Melanie Vincent received their Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Richmond. Melanie then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy in Neuropharmacology and Neuroscience from Albany Medical College. Currently, Melanie is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Pharmacology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
