Carol Lee has worked in the healthcare industry since 1982, beginning as a Charge Nurse at St. Margaret's Hospital for Women. In 1984, they became a Staff Nurse at UCLA Medical Center and then in 1985, they transitioned to a Health Consultant at Liberty Mutual Insurance. In 1989, they moved to Santa Monica Hospital Medical Center as a Staff Nurse and then in 1993, they became a Clinical Research Nurse at Olive View/UCLA Medical Center. In 1995, they took on the role of Research Unit Coordinator at UCLA Borun Center and in 2015, they volunteered at UCLA Clinical and Translation Research Center. In 2016, they became a Customer Service Representative at Interim Healthcare Agoura Hills and in 2017, they took on the role of Nurse Educator and Quality Assurance Manager at Vigilance Health, where they were responsible for overall clinical quality assurance of the Care Management Department, developing and implementing clinical training and training materials, and managing chronic diseases.
Carol Lee attended Boston University from 1978 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN). In 2014, they obtained a Certificate in Clinical Trials Management from the University of California, San Diego Extension.
