Amy Drago

Amy Drago has a diverse background in healthcare, with experience ranging from emergency medicine to critical care. Amy'smost recent role was as an Emergency Medicine NP Fellow at Carilion Clinic, where they participated in an intensive advanced practice provider fellowship in Emergency Medicine, including off-service rotations in orthopedics, anesthesia, critical care, and more. Amy focused on emergency medicine at a level 1 trauma center and rural emergency medicine sites. Prior to that, Amy worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at VIGILINT, specializing in austere and military critical care medicine. Amy also served as a Critical Care Air Transport Team (CCATT) Nurse in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. Amy has experience as an Intensive Care Nurse at UPMC and Penn State Health, as well as an Intensive Care Nurse at SUTTER SOLANO MEDICAL CENTER. Additionally, they have experience as a Registered Nurse in Intermediate Care at Centura Health and UCHealth. Amy began their nursing career as a Registered Nurse at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and also worked as a Pediatric Home Health Aid at BAYADA Home Health Care.

Amy Drago has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nursing Science from Georgetown University, which they obtained in an unspecified year before 2022. Prior to that, they attended Penn State University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse.

Furthermore, Amy has achieved certification as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) at an unknown date. Amy also holds the Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) certification from the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board (MSNCB), obtained in August 2017. Additionally, Amy has completed training in the NIH Stroke Scale, holds a Registered Nurse license from both the Colorado State Board of Nursing and the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing, and has training in TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care) from NAEMT (National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians).
